Tips for a Successful GivingTuesday
GivingTuesday will celebrate its tenth anniversary this year on Tuesday, November 29. Over the past ten years, GivingTuesday has evolved into an independent nonprofit and global movement that inspires people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
One thing that makes GivingTuesday so unique, and different from other days of giving, is it is primarily powered by social media. This unleashes the power of people to transform their communities and even the world. (This is your reminder to do a little housekeeping on your social media channels!)
Several nonprofit organizations capitalize on the global movement to kick-start their year-end fundraising efforts or rally community volunteers around a specific project or need. If you plan to fundraise on this day, you should start planning now.
We scoured the web to find out how other nonprofits have conducted their GivingTuesday efforts. Check out these amazing ideas below!
